Why is it that when you are African-American, black whatever you want to call it and you don’t listen to rap music you are too ‘white’? I must have missed that memo can someone forward that to me? Well I listen to what makes me feel happy. And rap now is about but shot and being ‘locked up’. I mean how am I supposed to react to hearing that? I am supposed to get up and shout with joy or something . And if that isn’t enough most songs now are calling women everything but a woman. I’m not saying you have to change into a saint but I mean aren’t you supposed to respect your listeners? But when I hear Mika who is from London because his song Love Today makes me smile and then Panic! At The Disco is from suburban Las Vegas because they have something to say and something for me to think about. Like their song ‘I constantly thank God for Esteban’ which is about all of the hypocritical cliches of the church. And when I listen to songs like Beautiful Girls by Sean Kingston I love the beat and his voice but at the same time he talks about how he ‘went away for his first crime’ I mean it was a great song without talking about breaking the law. Especially so blatantly it would be different if he was talking about being in jail in the song but the song was about Beautiful Girls. DUH! So why would you talk about going to jail the FIRST time. Whether he did that or not it makes no logical since to be talking about it like it was a good thing. I mean it’s not like he was talking about revolution in the world no he’s just talking about going away. Akon is like that too. I joked with my Mom saying that he jinxed himself because his albums were called Konvict and Trouble and his first single was ‘Locked up’ then you are kind of set for life… in jail. So on that note think about how you periceve music even my parents are like that and I know they love me but GOD do they talk about how ‘Do you have any black people on you iPod?’ And so what if I don’t then I really don’t care because I know about the classics and I know what I am ‘missing out on’ so I’m straight.

Yeah feeling sick stinks. Last night I think I got a slight case of food poisoning. And I woke up with sharp pains in the morning. Now with that said I think about why I faked sick when I was in school. I mean EVERYONE has done that sometime. So think about it why would you fake being miserable just to get out of school. Unless you are Ferris Beuller then I think that there’s not much else you are gonna do while you are at home. I mean when I stayed home I watched TV I watched like the Game Show Network and that’s it. But I was sick a lot when I went to school in the fourth grade I missed 19 days of school because of the stomach flu, the regular flu, a serious asthma attack, and Acid Reflux. Now if I wasn’t a good student I would have repeated the fourth grade. Now I am at home while my family is at church and I am feeling like one big pot of acid because I threw up. So in the end I am with the very very short and acidic end of the stick.

Alright not really but I am cutting time to write this in the middle of my 100 page essay. Let Me explain. I am at my Grandma’s and she decides to charge us for our dinner. She charges us in our age. You know like I’m 12 then I am charged $12 for spaghetti. And then wwwe have to tip our ‘waiters’ the same amount of our food like I had to tip $12. And I was not happy about that in the least bit. So I said “I’m not paying for that” and I walked away. well I got in trouble for that and I was supposed to write a 100 page essay on ‘being a freeloader’. Now I think that that is ridiculous. I mean we are all minors and she doesn’t have a license to run a restaurant. So my brother and I decided that that we should file suit and it was a class action suit because it was more than once LOL!! Well I think that you should pay for minors food unless they decided to go out in which he/she should pay for it.

OK well I thought I already showed you the most confusing FOB Video ever I think I was wrong. This is probably the worse because they didn’t have the genius that is Alan Ferguson. Alan Ferguson he directed every FOB video after Sugar We’re Going. So Saturday is a video for their first single from Take This To Your Grave. I think Patrick (The Redhead) and Pete (The dude with the black hair and the mohawk) are connected somehow and maybe that’s his guilty consience and his good consience for each other you understand what I’m saying? Now I am a music freak so I know when all the good music award shows come around. The next music award is the VMAs and that’s the Video Music Awards. MTV hosts this every year and normally I just watch but since I have been more in the music scene I am gonna vote this year. Now I was going to vote for best group and I found out that Gym Class Heroes, Fall Out Boy, and Linkin Park are all nominees. Now I’m just supposed to pick one? That’s not humanly possible. I want to vote for Fall Out Boy because they are like my favorite band and I know all their songs but at the same time Gym Class Heroes is like awesome and new so I feel like I am obligated to vote for them and then there’s Linkin Park. Linkin Park has made awesome songs like What I’ve Done, and In The End. So maybe they should be nominated for best comeback. So I am at a crossroad here I don’t think that anything new will happen because I mean all of the bands are great but Maroon 5 is running and no offense but I think they have like 2 songs and they aren’t even new but they are the only good songs. So I think that I will have to ponder this a little more OK?

I don’t have much to write about but I think that going back to school is something that people hype up until you’re hyped. And you know what I’m Hyped. I have seen so many back to school videos from bands like Fall Out Boy, Cobra Starship, Cute Is What We Aim For, and Gym Class Heroes. So I have decided to make my own. It won’t be ready until next post though. So until my awesome video here’s Patrick Stump’s version.

Well I thought that was so funny and non embarassing because all the other ones were embarrassing and for that reason I didn’t post that.

Transformers. The best commercial I’ve ever seen is Transformers. I know it was a movie but it must have been really expensive because there were so many commercials. I think that some were subtle but some were a lot worse. I think that the fact that it was about toys should say something I mean if you think about it then that’s a commercial in and of itself. So you think about all the people in Japan who are paying Stephen Spielberg big bucks to make sure that their precious toys have a good movie but I mean really a movie about toys? I thought it would be horrible but I thought it was amazing but I suggest that you sit as far bakc as possible my eyes hurt cause I was in the very front(those were the last seats). I saw so many commercials like Panasonic. But the movie overall was great very funny and really explosive. It like invaded your mind after you saw it. I think that Shia LaBeouf has really reinvented himself after Even Stevens I mean I loved that show but I love the new shia even more. I really suggest seeing that movie

An Ecospot is a TV spot which you can use to spread awareness on global warning. Now current is having a contest on the best TV spot. The TV spot that wins will be aired on current and on Myspace’s impact channel and will win a Toyota Highlander. Many other entries will win great prizes too. Here’s the 411 there are a lot of sample spots on that link and I found my favorite. I like this one because it’s funny and not depressing or hard sounding to do. And I mean he’s a ninja I think that speaks for itself. Oh and click on the play button to avoid the video opening in a different window.

Wasn’t that awesome? Then there’s a different kind of spot where you find a eco friendly person or place and then make a spot about what they’re doing. That would be cool if only I could find a place like that around me.
